In addition to our tele classes, the Virtual Learning Center offers other technology professional development to St. Louis area schools, including the integrating Technology Educator Academy. iTEA provides face-to-face, hands-on experiences with creating lessons and unit plans using 21st century teaching tools. Each academy is flexible to meet the needs and goals of the teachers.
- Integrate technology and the Internet into the curriculum
- Create Internet experts in each building
- Increase enthusiasm, confidence and knowledge of effective educational technology techniques
- Create discriminating users of the Internet & Media
- Establish instructional technology leaders in your (school) district
The iTEA offers learning and sharing opportunities using:
• Group Meetings
• Goals & Projects
• On-site Consultations
• Field Trips
