Rushton Hurley has been announced as the first keynote for the 2011 Midwest Education Technology Conference, to be held at the St. Charles Convention Center near St. Louis, Missouri. He has taught at the high school and college level, been a school principal, worked with charter and traditional schools, and organized and run an online school. Rushton‘s  graduate school background at Stanford includes exploring technology-enhanced learning through multi-media and speech recognition.

METC 2011 is February 14-16 — registration opens October 1.
