Wednesday, November 5, 2008 FHSD Tech Fest
Over 150 people attended FHSD Tech Fest yesterday. FHSD (Francis Howell School District) Tech Fest offered an afternoon of technology professional development to educators. Sessions included SMART Board, Google Earth, RSS, VoiceThreads, Internet Safety, Web 2.0 tools, and videoconferencing. I had two sessions where I spoke to mostly FHSD staff about how I assist New Links to New Learning members with connecting to distance learning programs. We had a good talks during both sessions. I’m looking forward to more teachers in FHSD taking advantage of all the v/c opportunities out there!
