The Virtual Learning Center is wrapping up 2007 with revamping the tele- out with the old, in with the new-
we’ve set up 15 new iMacs with the Leopard OS in the tele (with the help of Apple). What’s really cool about the new Apples is that they have both Windows and Mac programs with Boot Camp. We’re really excited to be able to train our teachers on the computers they are familiar with- whether it is a PC or Mac.
January 15 note-
We have made even more changes- our new SMART Boards have been installed at CSD, including one in the tele. In addition to the SMART Board, we have our Promethean Activboard and new Sympodiums. The VLC team is excited to be able to offer both platforms in our tele. When participants attend our classes, they can choose PC or MAC with a click of their mouse.
We are also excited to be able to have both Promethean Activboards and SMARTboards in our tele. This dual platform will allow CSD to offer a wider range of trainings and support to the K-12 educators in the area.
