Cooperating School Districts has an Author Visit videoconference series with the following authors: Carolyn Lesser, Bill Dallas Lewis, and Patricia McKissack. Information on their individual programs can be found here.
Students respond really well when sharing their written work with a published author. Carolyn, Bill and Pat are all really great with students; Carolyn shares about her explorations and adventures, Bill talks about his work and how he attended the same school as Dr. Seuss, and Pat covers topics from history to holidays. Pat’s new blog will be part of the writing workshop.
We’ve had several St. Louis area schools connect to these experts, as well as students from across the United States. We love to get a good mix of students. Interested? Contact me a rpolityka@csd.org
