The Virtual Learning Center has expanded its professional development opportunities for this summer. Our technology enhanced learning environment (tele) includes new courses and increased hands-on experiences. We expanded our tele classes to include objectives for each class and additional hours and days. Most of our workshops also offer the ability to receive college credit. Educators appreciate the small class size and differentiated instruction received through our tele classes. We are excited to provide this unique training to all educators. Check out our tele courses and other VLC information on the Cooperating School Districts home page http://www.csd.org follow the technology link.

Comments from recent classes indicate teachers like the new format of skill building with time to practice those new skills by creating usable activities for their classroom. The graduate credit is very appealing also.
Another exciting new development with the CSD tele classes is that participants will have the opportunity to use Moodle as part of their experiences since all course materials will be uploaded to this great course management system (CMS)!
Great news!Hopefully I will be able to sit in on some classes. See you this summer.
